Obituary, Carter G. Woodson

This obituary appeared in the July–September, 1950, edition of The Bulletin: Official Organ of the American Teachers Association. A life member of ATA, Carter G. Woodson is remembered—among his many accomplishments—for founding Negro History Week, which later expanded and was renamed Black History Month.
