2010 Western Regional Leadership Conference

The Western Regional Leadership Conference (WRLC) is designed to further enhance knowledge of K-12 educators, support professionals, higher education, student, and retired members.

The registration link covers the WRLC and MLT conferences – please be sure to select the correct registration type.

  • Online registration closes January 8, 2010
  • If you do not have access to a computer, please contact your state association office, Administrative Manager for assistance.
  • The Conference registration fee is $135 through December 15, 2009. Late registration fee of $175 is effective December 16, 2009.
  • Checks or money orders should be made payable to NEA and mailed to the Western Region Office, 1401 17th Street #950, Denver CO 80202
  • Fees include all conference materials, opening session and meals (Friday night dinner and reception, Saturday breakfast & lunch and Sunday breakfast).

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your conference registration, please visit your registration record in RegOnline:

All refunds that meet the following criteria will be issued within 4 to 6 weeks after the conclusion of the Conference:

  • 100% of Conference registration fee will be refunded with written request received by December 31, 2009
  • Refunds will NOT be issued for NO SHOWS
  • All refunds will be issued in the manner of original payment (credit card or check).

Hotel Reservations

  • All conference participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Hotel reservations must be made through the hotel web site or reservations service. When calling in your reservations (1-888-236-2427) – be sure to request group code: neaneaa.
  • Hotel reservations must be made by December 15, 2009. The group room rate will be available until December 15th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
  • Room rate: $149 single or double plus taxes. A credit card will be required to guarantee your reservation. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all reservations (cancellation must be received by the hotel 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival). If you cancel your reservation, be sure to request (and save) a cancellation number, the Regional Office will not be responsible for any cancellation issues.

  • Resolutions Hearings - The Open Hearing on Resolutions is scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 2010
  • PAC: Kiosks will be set up at the WRLC simplifying the contribution process.  Please see the NEA FUND flyer for details

The MLT Conference begins on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 and concludes on Friday, January 15, 2010.  Please refer to MLT Conference site for details.
