The Alzheimer's Project Public Outreach Campaign

Offer from HBO for NEA State and Local Affiliates

In April 2009, HBO will launch a grassroots public service outreach campaign to shine a spotlight on Alzheimer’s disease.

In an effort to inform the public, spur conversation, and excite individuals to participate in the search for a cure, HBO will make DVDs of their groundbreaking, four-part documentary series, The Alzheimer’s Project, available at no charge to national, state, and local organizations that agree to screen and discuss the film(s) between April 27 and May 10.

Screenings can take place in a living room, conference room, recreational facility, or community center. Interested organizations can log onto www.hbo.com/alzheimers/screenings to request a kit and register to take part in this national discussion. Organizations can choose to order one segment or the entire set.

For more information about the initiative or to pre-order a kit, please contact Kevin Koenig at Civic Entertainment Group, Kevin.Koenig@cegny.com or 212.426.7006.
