NEA's Read Across America Reading Tour 2016: Denver

The Mile High City was the 5th stop on NEA's 2016 Reading Tour!  DuPont Elementary School  welcomed Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and NEA Executive Members Maury Koffman and George Sheridan along with CTA President Barb McDowell.  There was lots of reading and a surprise for students at the end of the event!

NEA is taking flight with Southwest Airlines, which is the official airline of NEA’s Read Across America 2016, the 19th annual celebration of reading that honors the March 2nd birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, known as Dr. Seuss.
