NetAid Global Action Awards
Honoring High School Students Who Fight Poverty
The NetAid Global Action Awards honor high school students who have organized and led an innovative anti-poverty project. One that has impacted people in poor countries or raised awareness about global poverty in their own communities.
The awards celebrate young people who have shown leadership in areas such as preventing HIV/AIDS, alleviating hunger, and improving access to education. Applicants must have attended a U.S. high school (9th through 12th grades) during the 2005-2006 academic school year and be residents of the United States. Honorees are awarded $5,000 for college or a charitable cause of their choice.
The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2006.
