Exemplary Student Volunteers

Honoring Young People in Grades 5-12


The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honor young people in grades 5 through 12 who have demonstrated exemplary voluntary service to their communities. Each state honoree will receive $1000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. (May 5–8, 2007) with one parent or guardian. While in Washington, D.C., ten national honorees will be chosen. Each of the ten national honorees will receive an additional $5,000, a gold medallion, and a crystal trophy for his or her school.

Who's eligible? Students in grades 5-12 who have conducted a volunteer service activity within the past year.

The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2006.
