Registration and Log In

Why doesn't NEA.org Registration recognize me as an NEA member? Why isn't my User ID or password working?
There are two possibilities. First, if you are a new member, your information may not yet have been entered in the NEA membership database. Second, the fields that you fill out on the registration form must exactly match the information in the NEA membership database, so if something about you has changed (e.g., street address), or if you enter information different from the way it is entered in the database (e.g. using abbreviations in one place and not the other) the system may not recognize you. In either case, please contact Customer Care.

Can you tell me my forgotten password?
If you forget your password, go to the Forgot Password? page (linked to from the Registered Users Log-In page). Submit the form with the requested information and we will send you a new, temporary password. Use this new password to log in to the members-only area. You may then change your password from the “User Profile” page.

How do I change my password or User ID?
To change your password, you must first log-in to the members-only area of NEA.org. Then, click on the “User Profile” link near the “Sign Out” button found in the right rail of the page on which you logged-in.

Can I register for NEA.org if I'm not an NEA member?
No, registration is only available to NEA members. It allows them to access members-only areas of NEA.org. However, a large selection of useful information and articles is available to non-members on the NEA.org main page.

Why do I have to register and log in separately for NEA.org Partner sites?
NEA.org Partners want to maximize the benefit you receive from visiting their sites and have their own procedures. This includes recognizing you as a distinct individual with personal preferences that can be captured only by their unique registration process.
