Let's Be Civil
Most students are well-behaved and thoughtful of others. It’s the ones who aren’t that get the notice, require more than their rightful share of an instructor’s time, and too often create an unpleasant class dynamic. This issue’s Thriving in Academe offers some strategies for helping students grasp the concept that civility is an integral part of learning.
