The NEA Education Support Professional of the Year Award recognizes the contributions of Education Support Professionals (ESPs) to their schools, communities, and their professions.

The award is presented to a member who demonstrates outstanding accomplishments and reflects the contributions of ESPs to public education. The award is presented jointly by the National Education Association and the Gardner Rich Foundation of Chicago, Illinois.

ESP of the Year applications are submitted by the state affiliate office or the local association where applicable. Please check the guidelines.

Nominations must be received at NEA Headquarters by close of business Friday, December 11, 2009.
