Working With Migrant Students
A National Imperative for Head Start Students and Families
“Working with Migrant Students” outlines background program information and specific recommendations for Head Start and other early care and education programs based on the lessons learned from Migrant and Seasonal Head Start programs.
This publication is the collaborative product of the National Education Association and the National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Association, resulting from the First Annual Public Policy Forum (February 2009). Both associations believe that all children need and deserve a good start.
