Raising Compulsory School Age Requirements: A Dropout Fix?

States are raising maximum compulsory school age as part of a collection of strategies to increase graduation rates. This policy brief analyzes the impact of increasing the age of required student attendance and provides a state-by-state list of those states that will not allow students to dropout before the age of 18.
