Welcome Education Support Professionals. Today, you have the opportunity to take several important actions:

  1. Tell Congress to Support the National Classified School Employee of the Year Award Act – this important bill will ensure that ESPs get the recognition you deserve for the important contributions you make every day to students and schools.

  2. Pledge to become an Educators for Obama. Election Day will be here before you know it: Republican candidates for President have attacked our union, our educators, and questioned our commitment to children.  President Obama has worked hard to provide funding for Education and to support Middle-class tax cuts and affordable college.  He’s been a champion for us, but now he’s under attack.  National conservatives and wealthy donors have said they will spend over a BILLION dollars to defeat President Obama.  They may have money, but they don’t have you.  You talk to people in your community every day.  You work hard for your kids.  You are dedicated to your work and you are a trusted voice on Education.  Let’s show them we intend to fight back.  Join Educators for Obama!
