NEA Launches “Raise Your Hand” Radio Campaign

Geared Towards Parents, Presenting Tips for Getting Involved with Their Children’s Education

Found In: raise your hand

NEA is launching a new radio campaign entitled “Raise Your Hand for Student Success.” Voiced by NEA President Dennis Van Roekel, the nationwide campaign is geared toward parents and presents quick tips to help them get involved with their child’s education, and, ensure that learning does not stop when a child leaves school for the day.

The campaign will tackle such topics as establishing good study habits, talking to your children about their day, and the importance of homework.

A new feature will run each week throughout the school year and the topics will expand to be more comprehensive.
