At current levels, student debt isn't just a burden, it’s a barrier to the American Dream. Nearly everyone who has attended college in the last three decades has a personal story about the increasing costs of higher education.

We know that student debt disproportionately affects poor Americans, and restricts their opportunities to pursue college and careers. We also know that too many young people are turning away from careers in public education because they believe they can't afford it. That's why we need your help.

Will you share your story about how student debt has affected your quality of life or career choices?

Your story will help illustrate just how much student debt has become a part of the American story. We’ll use your story to advocate for change in current student loan programs.
