REALITY CHECK: Donald Trump and Mike Pence’s Child-Care Plan is a Misogynistic Handout to the Rich

WASHINGTON - October 04, 2016 -

“As an educator I was pleasantly surprised to hear Donald Trump and Mike Pence had released a child-care plan. Then I read the fine print. This isn’t a plan for working families. It’s another giveaway to the one percent. More appalling, is the misogynistic undertone, encouraging moms to stay at home. Hillary understands the realities of working moms, she’s been one for 36 years. She also has a child-care plan that will actually help us out. That’s one more reason why I’m voting for her and Tim Kaine in November.” - Marla Lipkin, Paraeducator, Pennsbury, PA
