REALITY CHECK: Trump Would Make America Great…for Billionaires

• Donald Trump’s benefit-the-rich tax plan “would cut taxes at all income levels, although the largest benefits, in dollar and percentage terms, would go to the highest-income households.”

• Donald Trump’s tax plan wouldn’t even accomplish his stated goal. “Unless it is accompanied by very large spending cuts, it could increase the national debt by nearly 80 percent of gross domestic product by 2036, offsetting some or all of the incentive effects of the tax cuts.”

• Donald Trump’s view on a living wage is as malleable as much of his ever-shifting campaign. He’s flip-flopped his views at least five times in the past year. See if you can find a coherent stance in it:
