“The entire California Teachers Association and National Education Association family is grieving today as the lives of an 8-year-old boy and one of our San Bernardino colleagues were taken this morning at an elementary school in the Inland Empire. We extend our deepest condolences to the families forever changed by this tragedy and to San Bernardino, a community still recovering from a deadly terrorist attack in December 2015.
