Association Representative Spotlight: Cheryl Moyd
Cheryl Moyd, Auburn Riverside HS, Auburn, WA
Cheryl is a national Washington State Social Studies Teacher of the Year, known for her high standards in the classroom and high activity in the Association. Cheryl has developed additional Association Reps for each department level with in the high school, no small feat with a staff of 100 educators. Cherly has worked with the other reps to develop a communication model of collaborative problem solving within the building; they meet with the building administration team on a regular basis, when they are able to resolve problems quickly and professionally.
Cheryl and the other Association Reps have also worked to increase PAC membership. At their building alone, PAC membership has tripled!
