2008 Omnibus: State-by-State Information

The following data shows the impact on education funding in individual  states and congressional districts of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2008 (or 2008 Omnibus). The Omnibus funds the U.S. Department of Education at $59.2 billion, 2.9 percent (or $1.7 billion) more than 2007; and $3.2 billion more than the Bush budget request.
