What are the seminars about?

Leadership development skills training for emerging, experienced, and advanced leaders;
-
Dialogue sessions with regional and national experts on current issues affecting our schools, profession, and community;
-
Networking with other education professionals and national and state leaders;
-
And much more.
Who can attend?
Official Team Members: (NEA FUNDED) Each state president is encouraged to select a 6-member team of ethnic-minority members/leaders to attend. Funding for state team members is provided by the NEA Human and Civil Rights Department. Members of this state team are expected to attend the seminar for two consecutive years.
Other NEA Members: Additional NEA members can attend an MLT Seminar in their region. Funding for these participants can be provided by either their local or state association, or by individuals themselves.
