On Board with Reading!

Do you know the Magic School Bus, the one that transports its students through space and time to learn new things? Well, some Oregon school buses will be doing much the same on March 2, NEA’s Read Across America Day, when drivers stop in their tracks to introduce their young passengers to the wonderful world of reading. “We want to show students that we definitely are a team with teachers and we take reading seriously too!” says Janis Eggert, a Lebanon driver and NEA Board member. For more information about Read Across, including a tip on what to do at 2:36 that afternoon, go to www.nea.org/readacross.
