We're Fighting for the Right to a Great Public SchoolNEA President Reg Weaver recalls the passion for teaching he’s felt over a 30-year career: “There’s no feeling like seeing children’s eyes brighten up as they discover a world of opportunity.” He reminds listeners in his 60-second May radio spot that we're a team fighting for great public schools -- including smaller class sizes, adequate funding, and access to a rigorous curriculum -- for every child. NEA Newsletter FAQ
-
What are NEA newsletters?
NEA e-mail newsletters bring you timely information on education and educational issues. There is no cost to subscribe to these newsletters.
-
I have not received a newsletter yet?
You will not receive any newsletters until after you have confirmed your subscription from the confirmation e-mail you were sent shortly after you subscribed. Please follow the directions in that e-mail to start your subscription.
- I've confirmed my subscription but I still have not received a newletter
If you have followed the directions in the confirm e-mail, you should receive newsletters on a regular basis. However, while most newsletters are published weekly, each has its own schedule. So it may take a week or more before you see your first issue.
If it has been longer, it may be that we have our e-mail address wrong. You can try to subscribe again and if you are already subscribed, you will receive an e-mail inform your that your subscription is set.
- How do I unsubscribe?
The quickest way to unsubscribe is to send an e-mail to the unsubscribe address at bottom of the e-mail newsletter you received. While you will be immediately unsubscribed, you may still receive newsletters that were already sent for another 48 hours.
- How do I change my e-mail address?
From your current e-mail address you can send an e-mail to lyris@list.nea that includes the following line:
set listname email=myname@newdomain.com< BR>
using your new address to replace myname@newdomain.com
- I still have a question?
Your question is probably best answered by the person who administers the newsletter list. Their e-mail address is owner-listname@list.nea.org where you substitute the name of the list for listname. Other questions should be directed to postmaster@list.nea.org.
