Statement of NEA President Bob Chase on Learning First Alliance Safe Schools Report
Washington, D.C. -- "This report shows not just in its research, but in the diversity of the organizations which put it together, that it takes the support of the entire community to create - and keep - a safe haven for our children to learn," said National Education Association President Bob Chase.
"At this time in America, more than ever before, we find ourselves wondering what we can do to keep our children safe. This report lays out a workable plan for communities to come together and create the necessary safe learning environments needed to ensure our students can become successful adults."
