John Lennon Educational Tour Bus offers unique opportunity to aspiring students

John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

Some lucky teenagers' dreams became a reality on May 5, when the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus rolled into town.

Nine students were chosen to spend a day on the bus writing, composing and producing a song, while also having the opportunity to produce a music video.

The tour was sponsored in part by National Education Association (NEA) and Oneness, a national, non-profit organization whose focus is racial unity through music, the arts and education.

The partnership, which grew out of NEA's Read Across America, gives older students the opportunity to gain invaluable life and literacy skills through spoken word, poetry, music writing, producing and recording, and the arts.

More information is available in our press release, or contact Staci Maiers at (202) 822-7150. Stories about this event are featured at www.eschoolnews.com (free registration required), Silver Chips Online and Gazette.net.
