A song about Dr. Seuss

A Song about Dr. Seuss
I've been trying to think of
a song about Dr. Seuss.
Cuz his birthday's coming
and you wonder,what's the use?
Well, He was a special kind of guy
To write all those neat books,
And it's nice to celebrate
his words and characters with funny looks
Oh Dr. Seuss, you're great, Dr. Seuss you're neat,
And your books just can't be beat.
We knew you when we were small
Still know you when we're tall
And thank you for the memories.
Green Eggs and Ham, Sam I Am,
I still won't eat that funny dish.
The Cat in the Hat, Fox in Sox,
Hop on Pop, The Butter,Battle Book.
Thank you Dr. Seuss, Happy Birthday too,
Even though you're gone we still love you.
You gave us the Grinch,
To you it was a cinch,
You words are fun to read, even now!
So I'm still trying to think of
a song about Dr. Seuss
Cuz his birthday's coming (tomorrow!)
and you wonder, what's the use?
Well, he was a special kind of guy
To write all those neat books,
And it's nice to celebrate
His words and characters with funny looks!
