Super Bowl XLI Plays Host to 10 Years of NEA’s Read Across America

NFL players set aside their team rivalries and got into the reading game by visiting Sea Castle Elementary School in Miramar,  Miami Springs Middle School in Miami Springs, and Miami Jackson Senior High School in Miami.  On hand for the celebrity reads-ins were Miami Dolphins outside linebacker Donnie Spragan and defensive tackle Fred Evans, and tight end Ben Troupe with the Tennessee Titans. Read more.

Students at Sea Castle Elementary School were paid a "Super" treat when NFL players visited them to read their favorite Dr. Seuss classics. The read-ins are part of Read Across America and were sponsored by the National Education Association and the NFL Players Association. Photo by Noelle Theard.
