Federal Resources for Educational Excellence (FREE)
More than 30 federal agencies formed a working group in 1997 to make hundreds of federally supported teaching and learning resources easier to find. The result of that work is the FREE Web site.

IRIS Center - Resources for Working with Students with Disabilities
Research-based, high-quality resources. The site has free, online, interactive training modules on such topics as Response to Intervention (RTI), Classroom Management, and Differentiated Instruction. A federally funded project housed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Learn To Be Healthy
This Web site offers free online lesson plans, assessment tests, and supplemental materials for teachers as well as interactive games and group and self-directed activities for children in grades K-6.  Registration is required for the full set of resources. Make a Difference Campaign for Middle School Students 
Learn how to make healthy choices for yourself and the world you live in. Fill out a simple online form, and the kit will be mailed to you. From the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Mathematics Software 
Arizona Mathematical Software (University of Arizona has a wide variety of free commercial quality math software that can be used with students studying algebra, calculus, and differential equations.

Native American Students Workshop
Digital Teacher Workshops for teachers of Native American students, produced by the Teacher-to-Teacher Initiative in collaboration with Office of Indian Education. 

Personal Educational Press 
This free online tool helps you create educational worksheets such as flashcards, game boards, and quizzes to print directly from your browser.

The Wright Center for Science Education of Tufts University has downloadable posters you can print as well as many other science education resources.

If you're looking for free computer equipment, you might want to try Share the Technology. The site provides a way for donors and potential recipients to search online message boards and databases to find computers and equipment available for free in their region. Donors can also post their goods here.
