NEA supports consistent eligibility
standards, definitions of disability

NEA believes that eligibility standards and the definitions of what constitutes a disability need to be clearer and more consistent. NEA worked with the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee staff and other national organizations to strengthen the Learning Disability eligibility language to include comprehensive evaluation data.
