Walk to School Day on October 8

Focus on Safety for Children

Now that kids are back in school, it's time to remind children about being safe when they walk. On Wednesday, October 8, U.S. schools will observe International Walk to School Day 2008. On that day over 250 schools nationwide will participate in the Safe Kids Walk This Way program.
