  1. Teacher Appreciation Week

  7. Early Childhood Physical Activity Calendar

  8. Two Free, 2-Day Training Workshops on Astronomy
    This hands-on astronomy program for middle school teachers explores basic astronomy concepts. Training will prepare participants to lead the program or train others to do so. Attendees who complete the training will receive a printed and bound copy of the program manual at the end of the workshop. The first training workshop will take place in Tucson, Arizona, on May 27-28, 2009. Registration for this session is due May 18. A second workshop is being offered at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, on June 3-4, 2009. Registration for this session is due May 27. Contact NASA for more information.
