Professional Development for Teachers & ESP

HIGHLIGHTS

  • NEA Teacher Quality Town Hall Meeting with Secretary of Education Arne Duncan
On the eve of the opening of their Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly, hundreds of members of the National Education Association engaged Secretary of Education Arne Duncan in a conversation about teacher quality. NEA invited the Secretary to bring his “listening” tour to its members so he could hear directly from educators about the experiences and the challenges they face. You can watch video of the entire town hall meeting in the NEA Academy On Demand section of the NEA Academy.
  • Local Treasurers Training
This online learning course is designed for Association leaders and covers the latest accounting rules, regulations and information every Local Association needs.

NEA Academy is the National Education Association's Web site devoted to meeting the professional needs of teachers and education support professionals.

Here you'll find the highest quality courses from the best developers. All professional development courses offered through the NEA Academy are carefully screened against a set of quality standards developed by NEA members in consultation with the National Staff Development Council.  Only the best courses of the highest quality make it through the screening process.
