I received the confirmation within seconds! The apps are great and it is a very good resource. It is awesome that the NEA does things like this for teachers

The confirmation never arrived in, ironically, my teacher In Box (or the Junk folder). But it did work for one of my home email accounts. Must be something glitchy with those k12.state.us ones.

Read, people, read! The page says you are requesting an e-Book and some services are for purchase. If that's not what you want don't sign up--but don't blame NEA if you can't read what you are signing up for.

No offense, but this link on the NEA site does seem to just be collecting our email addresses. It claims it will send you an email confirmation that will allow to download their free ebook, but it is not true. There is some kind of scam going on here, everyone.

For God's sake, read, people. You're supposed to be educated. There's nothing to buy. All you do is sign up for the mailing list and the eBook comes to you as a PDF. In it, you can read all about the free apps which are available on in the App Store. Jeesh!

How sad. I came for apps and was sent to a sales pitch that I had to sign up for if I wanted to get the apps info. No thanks! I have a great book from the i Learn iTeach services by Patsy Lanclos and will use it instead of signing up.
