Ben’s Guide to U.S. Government for Kids is a primer of U.S. government. The About Page gives an overview of Franklin’s life (timeline) and career (printer, librarian, inventor, statesman).

  • Grade K-2 resources include information on the nation, government, local neighborhoods, and symbols of U.S. government. Ben’s ABCs defines aspects of our nation. Games and Activities features four print and four interactive games. U.S. Government Web Sites for Kids & Students can be browsed by subject or agency.
  • Grade 3-5 resources include the previous information and add six fundamental historical documents, a description of how laws are made, a description of the electoral process, and a comparison of national and state government. Games and Activities has 6 print and 5 interactive games.
  • Grade 6-8 and Grade 9-12 cover the same material with text adjusted for grade level.
