Lessons, Resources, and Activities Explore the 2012 Theme: Declare Your Interdependence
Since 1987, Geography Awareness Week has provided opportunities for schools and families to engage in entertaining educational experiences. The theme for Geography Awareness Week 2012 (November 11-17) is Declare Your Interdependence. The following lessons and activities explores the idea that we are all are connected to the rest of the world through the decisions we make on a daily basis, including what foods we eat and the things we buy.
