When the school year began, our new principal and a committee of teachers came up with procedures for the hallway, lunchroom, bathroom, going to specials, and the playground in our building. In the first few days of school, each grade level divided the procedures between the teachers at that grade level and we rotated the students through the procedures. Through rotation, the students met all the grade level teachers and did not have to listen to their teacher teach them all the procedures. Before we left for break, the principal asked that we do that same thing on one of the first days back from vacation. Thus again, reinforcing the procedures with different teachers in charge of each procedure.
