I designed cute “GLOW” and “GROW” sheets to help students learn to make both positive comments and constructive criticism. I use these for students to critique projects they complete. I also have all students put their projects on tables with a GLOW/GROW sheet beside it. Using different colors of ink, students make comments about their peers’ projects. First, we discuss appropriate remarks, and I model this.
