Why not get students involved in the Best Buddies Organization, which is nation-wide? Not only do students become more involved with handicapped students but it also serves as community service hours. (Looks great on a college application and the handicapped students get more social interaction.) We should be teaching our students to give back to the community in preparation for adulthood.
