Calendar Rewards

I give out little rewards throughout the school year for things like perfect spelling tests or to students for bringing back a note signed from home, etc. For a special reward I use old or buy new, cheap calendars that have nice pictures. I tear them apart, laminate them and let the students select from them as a reward. My third graders love them! When using old calendars, be sure to check what is written on the other side.

My 7th Grade students would not appreciate laminated calendar pictures...they'll find it worthless.

Great idea. I'm a calendar nut and can't seem to throw them away.
