Checking Attendance and Homework

An easy way to take attendance, check homework or check preparation is to have an 8 1/2 x 11 size of your seating chart. Print it on heavier paper like card stock. Staple or tape a write-on transparency over it. As you go row by row, or group by group, use a wet erase maker to check whether or not the students have their homework.
