Class Homework Checker

In the beginning of the year, I talk about student jobs that we have within the classroom. One of the jobs is called 'Homework Checker.' The Homework Checker uses a clipboard and rotates around the room, carefully checking if the homework is done. This usually takes a good five minutes first thing in the morning. I supply a student roster sheet and a spot where the Homework Checker writes in the homework assignment and the date. Once he/she is done circulating the room and checking for homework, that student is responsible to come up to me immediately and give me the results enabling me to take care of any assignment mishaps on the spot.
