Compliment Door
February 15, 2006
I have a compliment door to teach my children how to say nice things about each other. I put a child's name up on my door on a big heart shaped piece of paper, and give all of the children a smaller heart piece of paper. They write compliments on the small hearts and sign their names. I write one, too. We stick the hearts on the door for everyone to read. After a week, I take them down, and put up a different name. The children get to take their hearts home to keep. I have found that my children have become much kinder to each other after writing compliments for several weeks!
