There's an easy and fun way to make bulletin boards that won't fade during the year. Just use fabric! I have found very interesting and theme-related fabrics that work great as the background for the boards. I have clouds in a blue sky for the weather and calendar board. I even found one that is cursive handwriting on a blackboard that I use for general notices. The nice thing is that you don't have to throw all that paper away when you are finished. Just fold up the fabric and stick it away on the shelf until next year.
