Green Eggs and Ham

Our students are encouraged to dress up as Seuss characters. To go along with the theme, we persuaded our lunchroom staff to serve green eggs and ham. To involve the community, the local librarian presented a retelling of The Cat in the Hat, using props and volunteers from the audience. Parents, principal, and community members were invited to my classroom throughout the day. I scheduled readers.
