Guess What We Did at School This Week

Found In: information recall, parent-teacher communication, summarizing, technology tools

Each week my children dictate a summary of our work for the week. I act as recorder and type their words into Microsoft Word. We then add a graphic that applies to the week’s highlights. Children are able to view the process because my computer is linked to our classroom television. After printing, a copy is made for each child to take home. We call this activity, "Guess what we did at school this week." This is a great recall and summary activity as well as a parent communication tool.
