I use very light, transparent report covers – in colors like blue, pink, and green – to cut up and use as bookmarks for my primary students. I usually cut strips of about 2 inches by 8 inches.
By putting the small piece of colored plastic over the text, the words seem to jump off the page. It really seems to help those with problems staying focused.
