Make-Up Memo
Since our school is departmentalized, students need to check with four teachers when they are absent. To make gathering make-up work easier, we have a make-up memo that is placed on a clipboard when attendance is taken in the morning. The clipboard is passed from teacher to teacher throughout the day. We attach papers to each make-up memo and record missed class work and homework. Parents pick up the memo at the end of the day or the child receives it when they return to school.
