Here are some mnemonics to help your students remember the important stuff. * HOMES (Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior) * Does McDonald's Sell Cheese Burgers? (Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Compare, Bring Down) * Use your MA to check division (Multiply and Add) * Edit your writing with the COPS (Capitalization, read Over it to be sure it makes sense, Punctuation, Spelling)
