Old Cds Make Good Picture Frames

This is an idea I borrowed. Spray paint a used or damaged CD. I chose black. Glue a student's photo on it that will cover the hole. Students can make a frame for the photo with rick-rack, ribbon, etc. Other decorations can be added -- beads, sparkles, sponge paint or stencil a design around the photo on the CD. Glue a magnet strip to the back for a refrigerator decoration or add string to hang as a Christmas ornament.
