Preventing Left-Handed Smudges

To prevent my left-handed students from becoming discouraged when their writing is smudged, I use a slight slant board for them to put their work on. You can use a large 3-ring binder for a slant board or I make one from a cardboard box by cutting corner to corner and then folding it in on itself.
