Recess Passes

I like to go around and check my students' progress as they're working. So I could remember which students were done enough for recess time, I made up bookmark-size laminated passes, which I hand out as I'm checking. When it's time for recess, only those students who have their passes can go to recess. I also use this method to remember whose desks have passed desk check and can go outside. Once you collect the passes, you can use them over on another day.
